Q: "Why are there no pre-made characters?"
A: We feel it is important that individuals are able to express creativity in their own way; by creating characters and elaborate stories to give us to tell about them. If we had pre-made characters, we think the creativity of having something that is yours and yours alone is lost. It is not real to the storyline if we, the administration, have premade characters. We want this storyline to be enjoyable by all.
Q: "Why is this the same information from Blood Square?"
A: It saves me the time from having to re-write everything. Besides, Zombie Road is going to serve as the sister site to Blood Square, and in many aspects act as a "prequel."
Q: "Why is it called Zombie Road?"
A: It's called Zombie Road because in the beginning it was going to be the original name for "Blood Square." The initial name was scraped, but I had already made a message board. I liked the name and thus I kept it. And voila, we have Zombie Road. Zombie Road is a very haunted location here in St. Louis and I thought it served as a decent name for any type of paranormal/supernatural storyline.
Q: "I have never watched Supernatural or read the Anita Blake series, can I still play in the storyline?"
A: Absolutely, of course!! You don't have to be an avid fan of Supernatural, or have never read the books in order to join. We have all the information on here already. If you have any other questions, you are totally free to ask in the C-Box, someone is sure to be able to answer. OR PM the Staff, we are always looking forward to help fellow roleplayers out.
Q: "Why didn't I get accepted?"
A: If you were not accepted into Blood Square, it is because of one of the following reasons: lack of character depth and creativity, lack of proper spelling and/or grammar, if the character is exceedingly powerful (meaning: the character is god), the application was not finished in it's completion, you did not give the correct code word or no cord word at all.
Please be reassured, if you are rejected, we will tell you the specific reason, giving you the ability to re-apply.
Q: "Can I bring in a canon character from Supernatural and/or Anita Blake?"
A: The only canons that will be accepted are the Angels and Demons from Supernatural. The demons in question include: Azazel (Yellow Eyes), "Meg Masters", Ruby (new demon or pre-demon), "Tom", or Alistair. (Lilith will not be included). All the Angels that were shown on the show will be accepted, this includes Castiel, Uriel, Anna, Zachariah, etc. Everything else will be original characters. This is to leave the creator of the canon characters to the remarkable work of Laurell K. Hamilton, and gives everyone else a chance to developing their creativity in embarking on a character's journey.
However, in addition to the canon characters, we ask that you have watched Supernatural in order to play canon. You must express complete knowledge of the character. No one person can play two canons. One canon per person. First come, first serve basis. Canons must be active in this storyline!
Q: "Can I bring in a high level character right off the bat?"
A: In the beginning we will only accept Alpha type characters, with some Master vampires. Until we have enough Alphas, we'll put a ban on where we don't need them. However, there will be no leaders for any shifter group. This must be earned through in-character play. A character must prove themselves power-wise and dominance-wise. It's best to try and get followers who will join your Pack or Pard. Challenges will be handled in the same fashion, in-character play. Fights are organized by logical based systems, no dice are used. When a character has earned the title of Ulfric, Nimir-Ra, etc, they alone preside over the group, and are able to choose Seconds in Command, and so on.
Angels or Demons cannot raise in rank like a shapeshifter or vampire. This is left in the position of the Staff to decide if the Angel or Demon in question can rise to another rank.
If anyone has trouble with these, then a Staff member will assist where needed.
Q: "Can I have more than one character?"
A: Yes, but not immediately. Each person, per email account, gets up to 3 characters. However, when you have registered your first account with your first character, you cannot create a new character until you have had this first character for a week, and have posted 5 times (5 tags in a thread, not counting anything OOC). After this, will you be able to create a second character. The same rule applies if you wish to create a third character, fourth character and so forth.
Three characters are given to everyone in the first month. Through extensive activity and creativity, that after the first month, the amount of characters a person can have is 5. After two months of activity, will the final characters be rewarded: giving the maximum of 8 characters per person. Please, do not register with a second email and/or IP address to claim 8 additional characters. We will be monitoring this activity and if anyone is caught doing this, will be banned and their characters removed.
Q: "Can I reserve a playby, face claim, character rep ahead of time?
A: No. First come, first serve. Sorry.
Q: How do we contact the administration?
A: You can contact me via PM or through my email. wereleopards@aol.com.
